Elisa Annapaula Silva

Elisa Tomys Silva, age 92 of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013. A native of Argentina, she was born December 28, 1920 to the late Karl Tomys and Martha Elizabeth Kost. She worked in the family owned aviation supply business in New York City and Maryland for a number of years. She was a member of New Life Church. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elsa Sobrado.

Elisa is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Jorge M. Silva; children, Alicia Ruriani (Sal) and Jorge G. Silva (Adilia); 5 grandsons, 5 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be 10am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at New Life Church, 3402 Goose Creek Road, Louisville, KY. Inurnment will be private at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
