Eleanor Sachiko (Kawagoe) Kim, 84, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 15, 1934 to the late Chester and June (Kaetsu) Kawagoe. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Dorma Lato; siblings, Francis Kawagoe, Gary Kawagoe, Shirley Kurosu, and Gilbert Kawagoe.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Doreen Otaguro, George Dela Cruz (Alexa), Jamie Kim and Jodie Kim; brother, Jerry Kawagoe (Faye); grandchilden, Stacey Dela Cruz, Chelsey Dela Cruz, Devan Otaguro, Aden Otaguro, Kawika Dela Cruz, Dori Adviento, Ivan Lato, Cody Lato, Jordan Struve and Erin Bell; and many great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Eleanor's wishes. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
