Eileen Dicken

Eileen Lyon Dicken, age 82 of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012. Eileen was born February 24, 1930 to the late William Henry and Mary Hattie Lyon. She attended St. Francis of Assisi Grade School in Louisville and Holy Rosary High School. She was a top graduate of the Norton School of Nursing, and later in life worked as a nurse at Kentucky Country Day School. Eileen was an avid Pinochle and Bridge player and belonged to several church clubs. She married William A. Dicken on November 8, 1952, William preceded her in death.

Eileen is preceded in death by her brothers, Mike, Pat, and John Lyon.

Eileen is survived by her sisters, Margaret Lyon and Peggy (Bruce) Glen; son, James (Gina) Dicken; grandson, William Andrew Dicken; granddaughter Kathryn Dicken; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be 2PM to 8PM on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home with Prayer Service at 4PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10AM Saturday, November 24, 2012 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
