Eileen (Ashby) Jacques

Eileen Jacques(Ashby), 92, of New Albany, Indiana was called home on Friday December 12, 2014. She was born on November 20, 1922 in Pittsboro, Indiana to John and Constance Ashby. She worked at American Airlines in the office for many years, she was a member of Northside Christian Church and a member of LaBelle Chapter of Eastern Star, DAR and volunteer at Floyd Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Vernon Jacques, sons, Robert Jacques(Susan) of Marquette,Michigan, Doug Jacques of New Albany, grandchildren, Lauren and Adam Jacques of Marquette,Michigan, great-grandson,Caleb Jacques of Marquette,Michigan.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) from 2 to 8 PM. Her Funeral Service will be on Wednesday December 17, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home at 1PM with burial to follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
