Mr. Edward W. Heitkamper, age 91 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Katherine Goldner Heitkamper.
He is survived by his children, Edward Heitkamper, Jr. (Lillian), Patricia Spellman (Mike), William Heitkamper, Rodger William Heitkamper (Teresa) and Katherine Gibson (David); 7 grandchildren, Deborah M. Breland (Michael), Michelle Spellman (Sheri), Bridget Licciardi (Derek), Katherine Schroerlucke (David), Rodger Heitkamper, Jr. (Sarah), David Gibson, Jr. (Stephanie), Jerry Gibson; 13 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Kayley, Caitlin, Tommy, Amanda, Tricia, Caleb, Brayden, Michaela, Max, Alexiah, Natasha and Will; sister, Ann Heitkamper and step-brother, Billy Heitkamper; sister-in-law Rosie Sneigle.
Funeral ceremony will be 12:00 pm Friday, Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 10am until time of service. Burial will be private.
