SCHLEFF, Edward (Ed), 83, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014. He is survived by his wife Julia, 2 daughters, Rebecca (Becky) Sommer (Gary) and Lisa Sharber; 3 grandchildren, Chad Sharber (Kristen), Matthew Sommer (Jill Rene), David Sommer (Sarah); and 5 great-grandchildren.
His funeral ceremony will be 12:30 p.m., Friday, January 24, at Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Road, with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m., and Friday from 11:30 am. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Dare to Care, P.O. Box 35458, Louisville, KY (www.daretocare.org).
