Edward May

Edward Alen May, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.

He was born on April 27, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Watkins) May.

Edward is survived by his loving children, Edward A. Sletten, Brenda (Billy) Smith, James Powell, siblings; Dickie May, Ronnie May, Phillip May, Brian May, Rose May, Sharon Mills, Marlyn May, grandchildren; Bo Smith, Mike Smith, Amanda Owens, Izzy Sletten, Peyton Sletten, great-grandchildren; Ayla, Megan, Kaelyn, Allie, Jackson, and Bella along with many other family and friends who love him dearly.

Edward was a collector of coins and had a passion for drums at an early age. He had a strong faith with God. Edward had a furry friend named Gracie who was always by his side. He was loved by all his family and friends. Edward was caring, loving and humorous to talk with. He cherished every moment and time spent with his family and friends. Edward was truly loved by everyone and will be forever cherished and missed so much.
