Edna Marie Fetter

Edna Marie Fetter, 80, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She was born in London, Kentucky to the late Jake and Samantha Watkins. She was a 1952 graduate of Lilly High School as well as a 1954 graduate of Sue Bennett College. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church. Edna was a loving Christian, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She always cared for and put the concern of others before herself.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by husband; Armon Fetter, brothers; Earl Watkins, Mark Watkins, Albert Watkins, sisters; Anna Lee Blankenship and Lena Jones.

She is survived by her son; Jimmy Evans (Traci), step-son; Armon "Trip" Henry Fetter III (Corinne), step-daughters; Jennifer Fetter Fields (Mitchell), Melina Fetter Crowe (Wayne) and Lorraine Fetter Strickland, grandchildren; Clay and Vince Evans, Henry, Philip and Karly Sue Fetter, Ben and Evelyn Rhea Fields, Katherine Crowe, Caleb, Shelby and Samuel Strickland.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 4 until 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.

Funeral ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial immediately to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Kentucky's Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Foundation, 138 Leader Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky 40536.

The family would like to thank those who have provided care to Edna over the years including; Visiting Angels, Belmont Village, Hosparus of Louisville, Signature Healthcare at Glenview and Dr. Molloy G. Veal III.
