Edna Marie Burge

Edna Marie Burge, 57, of Louisville, KY, passed away on September 29, 2021. She was the most loving, giving, outgoing and thoughtful person and always put everyone before herself. Edna was an avid animal lover of all types and enjoyed watching scary movies; the scarier the better. She enjoyed collecting cast iron and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Betty Jean Casey and brothers; Sherman Casey and Thomas Casey, Sr.

Edna leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Tina (Steve) Belke and Gloria (Mike) Rodgers; loving companion, Phillip Brown; the son she raised as her own; Camren Shane Wright and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Louisville Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Edna' life will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021, beginning at 11am at the funeral home.

Edna will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213.
