Edna Mae (Martin) Bullington, 87, of Jeffersonville, Indiana died on October 15, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Edna was born on December 27, 1925 in Evans Landing in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Clarence "William" & Altha Mae (Langsdon) Martin. She was employed at the Charlestown Ammunition Plant & Louisville Bedding for many years. Edna was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3281 Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack Bullington; children, Sandra Satterfield, Barbara Benjamin (Jarvis), Larry Chaney; brother, Frederick Martin (Geneva); sisters, Wilma Brown (Jim) & Mary Jane Nichols; 9 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 9 great great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Homer & Lawrence Martin; sister, Alma Pease; and infant sister, Thelma Martin.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral will be at 2 PM on Friday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
