Edith Marie Vincent

Edith Marie Vincent, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022.

She was born on March 22, 1930 in Coeburn, Virginia to the late Jerry and Mary (Buchanan) Holbrook. She is also preceded in death by her husbands Victor Vincent, George Determann, son, Jerry Otis Kiser, sister, Betty Ann Falin and brothers, Jerry Holbrook and Elton Holbrook.

Edie was a very loved and respected lady and a member of the Eastern Star. She was kind, giving, intelligent, independent, and a very strong lady. She was such a joy to be around! She loved her gospel music and was looking forward to being with Jesus one day! She will be missed by her many friends and family, especially her sister Ethel, which was her best friend and phone buddy! Also her son, Tony Ross, which was her pride and joy, and she loved him with all her heart and talked about him often. She shared such a great love with her nieces, Kathy and Tammie, that she became their second momma. She had two very special friends, Betty and Wanda, which was a great blessing in her life! What a blessing Edie has been to us all! "Heavens Sounding Sweeter All the Time!"

Edith is survived by her son, Warren A. Ross, grandchildren, Todd Ross, Tim Ross, great-grandchildren, Noah Ross and Abby Ross and beloved sisters Ethel Saizan and Nell Cox.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
