Edith Eleanor Williams Russell, 80 of Fisherville, KY went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 18th, 2022. Born in Mt. Hope, WV on February 17th, 1942, she was the daughter of the Rev. J. Samuel Williams and Clara Meadows Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifford Douglas Russell, and her brothers and sisters, Mildred Williams Crowell, Hattie Williams Roberts, Floyd Williams, Rosa Williams Morrison, Judson "Juddy" Williams, Edna Williams Conner, Andrew Williams, Mary Williams, and Gloria Williams Slimmer.
She is survived by her children, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, Diane Russell, Deborah Russell Wilder, Douglas Russell, and her daughter-in-law that she loved as her own, Laarni Russell. The grandchildren that she adored are Meadow Wilder, Heather Wilder, Leila Russell, and Lexie Russell. She is also survived by her beloved Chihuahua Isabella (Izzy) and Gracie Ann the Cat.
Her life was filled with her children, grandchildren, furry children, Bible Study group, and many others who learned of her love for God and the wisdom that God gave her. She loved quilting and cross stitching, winning awards for her quilting. She also has many nieces, nephews and cousins that she truly loved, as well as friends. No one that met Edith Russell will ever forget her, and she was truly loved by so many.
A funeral service will take place for Edith at the Melton Mortuary Chapel on Monday October 24, 2022 at 1:00pm. Friends and family may call for two hours prior.
