Edith Darlene Morrison

Edith Darlene Morrison, 73, passed away on November 21, 2022. Her whole family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edith liked family cookouts, going to car shows and watching movies and her favorite soap operas. Her favorite Disney character was Mickey Mouse and enjoyed collecting memorable. Edith's compassionate heart touched many lives. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Myrtle Cook, Sr.; brother, Wallace Cook, Jr. and Randy Cook and brother-in-law, Bobby Chism

Edith leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 56 years, David Morrison, Sr; children, David (Melissa) Morrison, Jimmy (Amy) Morrison and Tammy (Rusty) French; grandchildren, David Morrison, III, Emily Morrison, Logan French, Ayden French and Reesa Morrison; great-grandsons, Ian Gasper and Landon Morrison; siblings, Donald (Mary) Cook, Eula Chism and Marie (Steve) Hardenbrook and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-2pm with a celebration of Edith's life beginning at 2pm.
