Edith Mae Pitts

Mrs. Edith Pitts, age 85 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Forum at Brookside. She was a member of Middletown First Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and the Middletown Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris (M.C.) Pitts, a sister Christine Stolson, and 2 brothers, James Gilbert Morgan and Eugene (Zeke) Davis Morgan.

Mrs. Pitts is survived by her loving children, Judy Bruce (Paul), Beverly Minnich (Randy), Kevin Pitts (Kelly); grandchildren, Brad Branham (Diane), Julie Minnich Lee (Nate), David Minnich, Brandon Pitts, Sam Pitts; 5 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary Singleton and Jo Cummins.

Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Middletown First Baptist Church, 11721 Main Street, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-7 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at her church. Expressions of sympathy may take form of contributions to the First Baptist Church Benevolent Fund.
