Edgar Sermon, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.
He was born on October 17, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edgar and Mary Louise (Ford) Sermon.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louise Sermon, and Edgar Sermon, Sr; his daughter, Christy Sermon; and his brother, Robert Sermon.
Edgar is survived by his loving Wife of 33 years, Linda Sermon; his daughter, Shanna Sermon; Grandchildren, Emily, and Anthony; Nieces, Addie, and Parker; nephews, Pete (Bonita) Smith, and Jeffery Gaddie; and siblings, Carol (Mike) Cox, and Bev (Mike) Ellis. Edgar is also survived by a loving host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive).
The family requests that contributions in Edgar's memory be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
