Edith "Earlene" (Hamblen) Matteson, 75, passed away on July 28, 2013. She was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Sellersburg.
Earlene was born on October 21, 1937 in Vigo County, Indiana to the late Earl and Frances (Adams) Hamblen. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Dale Hamblen, and granddaughter, Becky Martin.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Matteson; children, Deborah Stanich (Vincent), Bret Frazier (Tammy); brothers, Bob and Rick Hamblen; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Crossroads Baptist Church (6109 Apple Leaf Lane, Sellersburg). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM with burial to follow.
Contributions in Earlene's memory may be made to her church.
