Earlene Hendricks

Earlene Hendricks, 62, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019. Earlene was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown and an avid volunteer for Choices for Women in New Albany. She loved to craft, garden, woodwork, sew, and attend Bible study.

She was born on December 4, 1956, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Fae (Miner) and the late Dalfus Morris.

Along with her mother, Earlene is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Keith Hendricks; daughter, Rebecca (Michael) Williams; son, Benjamin (Jillian) Hendricks; granddaughter, Olivia Williams; brother, Gary (Vickie) Morris; and nephews, Doug (Ashlee) and Brian Morris.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Visitation will continue Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (301 Gospel Road, Charlestown, IN 47111).

The family requests that contributions in Earlene's memory be made to Choices Life Resource Center (2656 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150) or Amedisys Hospice.
