Earl Timothy Watson

Earl Timothy Watson, 76, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Earl was very faithful in his spiritual beliefs. He was a "people person," who loved Elvis Presley and his dog, Meiko. He enjoyed dancing with his wife at the VFW and American Legion. Earl's favorite songs to dance to were "Mustang Sally" and "Wonderful Tonight." He was a past member of Sunnyside Church in Jeffersonville.

He was born on February 13, 1946, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late William Watson, Sr., and Grethel (Mitchell) Watson. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Delbert and Clarence Watson; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Watson.

Earl is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Watson; siblings, William Watson, Jr., Marcus Watson, Darrell (Beverly) Watson, Michael (Theresa) Watson, Wilma (Donald) Lanham, Sharon (John) Murray, and Carol (Enrique) Vermillion; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
