Earl Nicholas "Nick" Mattingly, Jr. passed away on April 25, 2024. He was an Army veteran and retired from the LMPD as a police officer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Minnie Mattingly, Sr.; sisters, Beverly Shingleton, Judy Brown and his brother, Kenny Mattingly.
Nick is survived by his daughter, Tracie Mattingly; grandchildren, Caitlyn (Noah) Blake and Justin Tumey; sisters, Lillie May Evans and Janice Corder and his brother, Gary Mattingly.
