Dwight Lang

Dwight "Dago" Lang, 77, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023. Dwight loved his family, all sports and time spent with family and friends. He was an avid deer hunter. Dwight loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Scottsville Christian Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder and Trustee.

He was born on May 17, 1946, in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, to the late Leo Lang and Pauline Powers Lang.

Dwight is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Cynthia Lang; daughter, Tonya (Mark) Christman; stepdaughter, Christy (Shannon) Duncan; grandchildren, Aaron Sparks, Christian Duncan, Elaine Duncan, and Devon Duncan; brother, Alvin Lang; sister, Rosemary McCutcheon; niece, Jessica (Scott) Lewis; and nephew, Kelley (Gabrielle) Lang.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). Visitation will continue on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Scottsville Christian Church (7857 Scottsville Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, at the church with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
