Dwain Drake

Dwain "Bubba" Drake, 41, of La Grange, KY passed away on July 20, 2014. Bubba was a maintenance man for Pilot Gas Station. He enjoyed working on cars, deer hunting, playing Keno, and watching UofL football and basketball, but he most enjoyed picking on his daughters, haha.

Bubba was born on September 22, 1972, in Louisville to Larry and Linda (Settles) Drake. His mother preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his nephews, Little Lonnie Drake and Josh Bradford; mother-in-law, Beverly Hodges and aunts, Joyce McKinney-Settles and Susie Wilson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Seanette (Clem) Drake; daughters, Angel and Emily Drake; father, Larry Drake (Judy); brother, Lonnie Ray Drake; nephew, Jordan Drake; nieces, Meghan Drake and Kisha Bradford; grand-niece, Addison; step-sister, Heather Cummins; nephew, Cambron Eddings; uncles, Ray and Joe Drake; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harmon and Paula Clem; brother-in-law, Glenn "Coon" Bradford and sister-in-law, Lisa Bradford. Bubba will also be missed by many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral ceremony will be Sunday, July 27 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Bubba's cousin, Phillip Drake officiating.
