Druann Sallee

July 3, 1952 — March 22, 2024

Druann Sallee (Dru), 71, was born on July 3, 1952, to the late William and Martha (Luna) Radford in Louisville, Kentucky; peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Druann accepted Christ into her life at Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana.
She attended Spencerian College of Nursing, where she obtained her degree to practice nursing; selflessly putting her skills to care for the aging population. She worked at Masonic Homes of Louisville.
She passionately put the needs of others before her own, she enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and during the later years, she loved to be pampered.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Ann Radford and her father, William Edward Radford.
She is survived by her lifelong partner, Eddie Howard and their three children Tracy Michelle Schupp (Mark), April Dawn Howard, Edward Joseph Howard Minnis (Cole), her grandchildren, Corey, Kelcey, Mark, Madison, Decorian, Dakota, Tiffany, Travis, Abigail, Jessica and Devon and thirteen great grandchildren.
DruAnn is loved and will be missed by many.
The family extends our deepest gratitude to Stephanie Baker, RN, Dr. Brian Stoll, MD, Dr. Jaspreet Grewal, MD. (Norton Cancer Institute), for their comforting presence on the journey of life. Their dedication and unwavering support were a source of hope for us. The commitment to providing compassionate care had not gone unnoticed, and we are truly thankful for all that they have done and continue to do for others. Their professionalism and kindness are invaluable, and we are grateful for the selfless service and the bonds that have made us family.
In respecting Druann's final wishes, there will not be a service, as we will be celebrating her life each, and every day. Expressions of sympathy may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Hosparus (Hospice) in Louisville.
