Dr. Charlesr. Davis, Phd
Dr. Charles R. Davis, PhD, of Louisville passed away Monday, May 10, 2010. He was a retired professor of political science at the University of Southern Mississippi, and attended Westport Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his children, Kim Ingram (Tom) and Rob Davis; parents, Cecil Raymond Davis and Fronda Bradshaw Davis; siblings, Aleta Guthrie, Michael Davis, Philip Davis, LaVada Davis and Patrick Davis. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 pm Thursday, May 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
