Douglas Lloyd Love

Douglas Lloyd Love, 37, of Milltown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. A beloved son, brother, uncle, and a friend to all. Douglas enjoyed fine cooking, gaming and building, taking care of animals, watching and discussing sports, traveling, playing games and spending time with family and going to the movies. He loved learning and was furthering his education at Purdue Extension.

He was born on October 5, 1986 in New Albany, Indiana to Paul and Vickie (Moore) Love. Douglas worked as an associate for Walmart in Clarksville for 10 years. He really enjoyed his work and his work family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and cousin, Todd Moore.

Douglas is survived by his loving parents, Paul and Vickie Love; sister, Elizabeth (Josh) Hollis; nephews, Henry and Glen; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Douglas' memory be made to American Diabetes Association or donor's choice.
