Douglas Guy Wilkerson

Douglas Guy Wilkerson, age 24 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was a talented and gifted musician. He attended UofL and worked for Café LuLu and also was an aspiring chef. He always made everybody laugh and had a smile on his face. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buell and Leta Wilkerson; and great-grandmother, Loucille Kelly.

Doug is survived by his loving parents, Rachel and Lee Doan; father, Andy Wilkerson; grandparents, Guy and Darlene Logan, Bob and Esther Doan; sister, Brittany Doan; step-brother, Hayden Wilkerson; aunt, Jessica Webb (Mark); uncles, Scott Logan (Kim), Aaron Logan (Monica Parks); great-aunt Robyn Todd (Jim); cousins, Micaela Adamson, Mason Webb and Micah Webb; loving girlfriend, Bri Rudolf; and his best friend, Jeff Shelman. Doug is also survived by a host of relatives and many friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 2:30pm Monday, June 30, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11am until time of service.
