Dottie Britton, 75, of Louisville went to her heavenly home on February 7, 2023.
She was born on February 28, 1947 in Cordova, Alabama. Dottie brought joy and laughter to her family and friends. Dottie's greatest loves were her family, Nana's Boys, UK Basketball, butterflies and a good hot cup of coffee.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Willingham and her sister, Mary Jane Willingham.
Dottie is survived by her grandchildren, Brittany Jennings (Johnathon) and Rodney Tyler Britton; great grandchildren, Kolby and Romyn Jennings; sisters, Gerry Latham, Clara Irmscher, Barbara Willingham, Brenda Sims, and Karen Simon (Russell); brother, Buddy Willingham (Angie); and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Her funeral will be held the following day at 12 P.M. at the funeral home with burial following at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Dottie's memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
