Dorsey Lynn Stull

Dorsey Lynn Stull, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. Dorsey was an avid fisherman, a skilled handyman, and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was affectionately known as Papaw to his grandchildren and loved to make memories with them.He had a strong faith and proclaimed that he was saved and born again the day before he passed. Dorsey will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on May 29, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Anna (Hobbs) Stull. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Stull; father, James Willie Stull; sisters, Sharon Richardson, Jeannie Hale; brother, Randall Stull; brother-in-law, William Hale; sister-in-law, Linda Stull.

Dorsey is survived by his loving family, significant other, Trudy Baxter; sons, John (Sara ) Baxter, Jason Stull, Mitchell Frazier; sister, Betina (Bobby) Dorton; brothers, Tony Stull, Keith (Stanette) Stull; grandchildren, Callie Stull, MJ Frazier, Miranda Frazier, John Baxter, Jr.; fur baby, Bitty; as well as a host of bonus children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
