Dorsey Emil Harrell

Mr. Dorsey Emil Harrell, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Born in Benham, Kentucky, he was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of the VFW, and a member of Okolona Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Nannie Creech Harrell; step- mother, Kathryn White; step-father, Earl West; brother, Wayland Harrell; sister, Patty Crenshaw.

Mr. Harrell is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Estelle Case Harrell; sons, Phillip Wayne Harrell (Janet) and Kevin West Harrell (Debbie Anderson); daughter, Sherri Ellen Smith; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral ceremony will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 4 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
