She was born on May 21, 1927 in Cleveland , Ohio. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Julia Barnes Nelson, Husband, Joe Warford, Brother, George Lorhorn, Nephew, George Lorhorn, Jr.
Dorothy is survived by her loving family, Sons, Dr. Harry Ray (Anita) Barnes and James Ellis (Priscilla) Barnes Sr.; Grandchildren, Harry Barnes, Jr., Iva Moore, James (Karyl) Barnes, and Phillicia (Aaron) Okenatez; Great-Grandchildren, Anna Moore, Mack (Candace) Moore, III, Shaquille Barnes, James Barnes, Troy Barnes, Adiya Howard, Deyon Barnes, Jada Bell, and Adonisus Bell; Niece, Rev. Donna Lorhorn; Nephew, Samuel Lorhorn, as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
Her Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm CST on Tuesday November 8th, 2022, at East View Cemetery in Union City, TN. The family would like to encourage Social Distancing.
