SPEAR, DOROTHY C., 80, Louisville, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Jewish Hospital.
She was a native of Shelby County, born on September 14, 1932 to the late George and Leva (Wood) Craig.
She retired from G.E. in 1998,where she was affectionatly known as "Chopper".
She is survived by her chldren Peggy Bohman of Texas, Dianne Caudill, Karon Ervin of Texas, (J.D.), Tina Spear, and Sandra (Sam) Beaumont (Scott), her grandchildren; Kelly Hammond, Anna Marshall (Mike), Megan, Jeffrey and Christopher Caudill, Ashley and Ryan Thacker, Justin Spear (Erin), Bruce Spear and Theo Brown, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her cherished siblings, Nellie, Thomas, Delbert, Florence, and William and their spouses. She is also preceded in death by her daugher Lorna Spear and grandchildren, Christopher Morgan Hammond, Lester Gene and Renee Bohman.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the employees of Frazier Rehab Hospital and Jewish Hospital for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.,Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Her wishes were to be cremated.
