Dorothy Marie Prewitt

Dorothy Marie Prewitt, 67, of Louisville, KY, passed away on April 13, 2022. She loved to play Bunco and Bingo. It brought great joy to Dorothy's heart to volunteer at numerous church outreach programs. She never met a stranger and would always help others. Her husband, children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be truly missed and forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Ann Parker; granddaughter, Jasmine Hoagland; brother-in-laws, John Daniels and Wade Prewitt and mother-in-law, Edna Prewitt.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Eugene Prewitt; daughter, Tonya (Bobby) Hoagland; son, Mike (Courtney) Jutz; grandchildren, Nicole, Bobby (LB), Trent, Cayden, Mikey, Devan, Cameron, Ethan and Valerie; great-grandson, Ivan; great-granddaughter on the way, Erin Faith; sisters, Cathy Daniels and Tara (Mark) Faulkner; brother, Charles Parker; nieces, Anna, Tammy and Jazz; nephews, John and Max; great-nephew, Jeremy; sister-in-laws, Sharon Prewitt, Bonnie, Angela Husband and Mona (Billy) Sheckles and brother-in-laws, Michael Prewitt and Wade Prewitt.

Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 1pm-8pm. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, beginning at 11am at the funeral home.
