Dorothy "Dottie" Lewis, 74, of Louisville passed on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in her home away from home in Bainbridge, Georgia.
She was a graduate of Murray State University and retired as a teacher from Eastern High School. She was preceded in death by both daughters, Connie and Nancy Coffey.
She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her close friends.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Lewis; his daughter and family, Holly and Michael Law; and granddaughters, Lyndsey and Katy Law; her brother, Ellerbe Powe; and remaining family in North Carolina.
A Memorial Service will be held 2pm Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation from 11am until time of service.
