Dorothy Kidwell, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 79. She was born on November 19, 1945, in Bloomfield, Kentucky. Dorothy lived life characterized by her devotion to family and her passionate commitment to her career.

A proud graduate of Bloomfield High School, she went on to forge a successful career as a sales representative in the retail industry, where her hard work and dedication made a lasting impact. Dorothy was not just a professional; she was the heart of her family. Known for her loving nature, she deeply engaged in the lives of her loved ones, filling their moments with joy, kindness, and unconditional support.

Her personality shone brightly as she balanced her professional obligations with her personal interests. Dorothy loved reading, watching movies, and indulging in fine dining, all while cherishing time spent with family and friends. Her proudest accomplishment was watching her family grow, an endeavor that brought her immeasurable pride and joy.

Dorothy is survived by her devoted son, David Kidwell, and her loving sister Connie Robinson. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends who will remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William B. Robinson and Louise Robinson, as well as her siblings, Charles Robinson, Ruby Armstrong, Shelby Anderson, and Bob Robinson, who undoubtedly influenced her strong character and values.

A memorial gathering will take place on December 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243.
