Dorothy Marie (Franklin) Kerberg

Dorothy Marie (Franklin) Kerberg, 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on July 24, 2019, at Sellersburg Health & Rehab after battling for several years with dementia. She loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kerberg; parents, Elbert and Katherine Franklin; as well as several brothers, sisters, and a nephew.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Charles (Rhonda), Steve (Marilyn), Bud (Carla), and Tony Kerberg; grandchildren, Adam (Theresa), Jason (Carman), Aaron, Steven J. (Kelly), Mark (Jenn), and Abigail Kerberg; several great-grandchildren; and brothers, Elmer Franklin (Joyce) and George Craig (Kathy).

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to her church, Sunnyside Assembly of God Women's Ministries (3200 Holmans Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
