Mrs. Dorothy Clary Hunter, age 78 of Simpsonville, passed away March 21, 2012. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was retired from Kentucky News Clip where she worked for over 20 years, and was a member of the Simpsonville Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ara Dollarhide Clary, and twin brothers Roy and Ray Clary.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard G. Hunter; children, Michael E. Hunter, Jennifer Schultz (Mark), Andrea Schoen, and John G. Hunter; 4 grandchildren, Shannon, Dana, Murray and Allison; 1 great-grandchild, Sophia Grace; nieces, Sharon Heitt (Jim), Janice Estes, Caren and Carla Clary, Amy; and nephew Roy Clary, Jr.; 2 sister-in-laws, Shirley Clary and Geraldine Page. Also surviving are a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 1030 Goss Avenue, Louisville, KY. 40217.
