Dorothy Louise Feeney

Dorothy Louise Nau Feeney, age 90, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Parish. Dorothy was an avid and competitive tennis player, and a member of the USTA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Edward Feeney, Sr.; her parents, Gertrude and Louis Nau; her sons, Kevin and Greg Feeney; her sister, Johann Reid; and her grandson, Aaron Matthew Kaelin.

Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Sheila C. Kaelin, RN (Kenneth), Beth Feeney, Melanie Feeney-Lewis (Kenneth Lewis), of Kernersville, NC, Laura F. Leitsch, BSN (James) of Lexington, Ky.; sons, Dr. Donald E. Feeney, Jr., Brian S. Feeney (Tina), and Shaun C. Feeney (Tracey); also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; her caregiver, Diane O'Neill; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with wake service at 5pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Dr, Louisville, KY 40299. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
