Dorothy E. Townsend
March 10, 1930 — April 10, 2014
Dorothy E. Townsend, age 84 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014. She attended Anchorage High School. She spent a great deal of time in Spain and Florida when her husband was in the Air Force. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Ray Townsend; her parents, Louis and Susan Roney Downing; and sister, Ruth Zinn.
Dorothy is survived by her niece and nephew, Connie R. Hasty (Michael) and Gary Zinn (Agnes); great-nephews, Paul, Eric, Andrew, Jonathan, Alexander and Christopher; 4 great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held 11am Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange, Kentucky.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Care Society.
