Dorothy Louise (Nance) Denton

Dorothy Louise (Nance) Denton, 70, loving wife and mother, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. She retired from Haas Cabinet Company in Sellersburg and always enjoyed trying new and different things.

She was born on July 17, 1947 in New Albany to the late John and Elsie (Conrad) Nance. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her brothers, Roger, Richard, David, Ronnie, Johnny, Nance, Harold and Chet Mosier.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronnie Denton; daughters, Shelly Marino (Mike), Trish Denton, Marlene Thacker; siblings, Jeanie Sherrod, Wanda Toops, Martha Nance, Joyce Smith, Mary Garrett, James Nance, Paul Mosier; grandson, Devon Wilson (Courtney); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and after 10 AM on Friday. Her Funeral Service will take place at 12 PM Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
