Dorothy Corrine (Overfelt) Compton, 87, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013. Dorothy was born on August 2, 1926 in Fithian, Illinois to the late Maxwell and Mamie (Phillips) Overfelt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Payton Jasper Compton; brothers, Truman and William Overfelt.
She is survived by her Children, Regina Sutton, Debbie Compton (Noble), Paula Roseberry (Lonnie), four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) Burial will take place at a later date at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Choices for Women (New Albany, Indiana).
She is survived by her Children, Regina Sutton, Debbie Compton (Noble), Paula Roseberry (Lonnie), four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
