Dorothy Bruce

Dorothy G. (Titus) Bruce, 69, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on January 6, 2014. Dorothy was a member of the Bible Community Church, was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening. Dorothy was also the owner and operator for Bruce Auto Salvage for over 40 years and worked for Lear Manufacturing for 17 years.

Dorothy was born on April 11, 1944 in Richmond, California to the late Harry and Marguriete (Cook) Titus. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Marguriete Spalding; brother, Charles Titus; and sister, Esther Mae Edwards.

She is survived by her children, Donald Edwards (Mayme), David Edwards, Jr., and Rexeen Blevins; stepchildren, Junior Bruce and Becky Robison; brothers, J. R. (Carol) and Martin Titus; and sister, Henrietta Perry (Dallas); ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home followed by burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
