Dorothy Louise Browne, formerly Menees, passed away January 12, 2013. She was born June 29, 1946 in Hickman, KY married Donald Browne at St. George Catholic Church in 1967.Dorothy worked at Parkway Rehabilitation and Nursing Center since 1984.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, William and Blanche Menees as well as her husband Donald Browne and a sister, Mary Scott. Her survivors include her two daughters, Donna Browne and Dionne Mackin (Steve); four grandchildren, Sarah Browne (Lamont), Steven Mackin II, Devin Mackin and Donavan Moore; two great-grandchildren, Allen Jamarri "AJ" and Ian.And Many family and friends who loved her dearly.
A special thanks to her brother, Charles Menees of Columbus, GA, who helped care for her.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
