Dorothy V. Bochan, 89, b. March 19, 1923, courageously passed at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center, 02/01/2013.
Born in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Conway Guarino. A homemaker, she was a longtime resident of Venice, FL before relocating back to Louisville. She was an active member of the Sarasota (FL.) Shell Club.
She was predeceased by her husband John, sister Ann Ames, and is survived by her loving son John J. Bochan (Judy) Louisville, brothers Joe Guarino (NY), Jim Guarino (TX), sisters Flo Guelcher (FL.), Rose Salliotte (MI.), Teri Wolf (CA.), and many nieces and nephews.
Burial and a memorial ceremony will be held at a later date in Venice, FL., when her ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico, where her husband John awaits her.
