Doris Carole White

July 25, 1933 — April 2, 2022

Doris Carole White, age 88 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. Doris graduated from Shawnee High School in Louisville KY, 1951. Her work life included several years at Louisville General Hospital and went on to work as office manager at Radiology Management Services until retiring in 1998. She is preceded in death by her husband, David White, parents R.E. DeCamp and Ada DeCamp. Her brother Don DeCamp and cousin Douglas Kranz.

Doris is survived by her 5 children, Janet Brooks, Marc Vernotzy, Judy Ousley (Gary), Shirley Cole (Brian) and Donald White; two step daughters, Stacy Tirico and Heather Lewis; grandchildren, Vester Lee Berry, Ashley Tate, David Brooks, Elaine Curtis, CJay Ousley, Sarah Caulfield, William Ward, Samuel Ward, Alec Lewis and Carissa Tirico; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

She lived a full life until her latter days and was best known for her easy smile and endless generosity. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family. May she Rest In Peace.

A gathering to celebrate Doris' life will be 5:30 to 8 pm on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. Burial will be at 10am Saturday, April 9th at Cave Hill Cemetery, with a sharing of memories.
