Doris D. (Loudermill) Taylor, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was a member of the LaBelle Chapter of Eastern Star OES 419 in New Albany and DePauw United Methodist Church in New Albany. Her love of gardening and animals was exceeded only by the love for her family.
Doris was born on January 10, 1913 in Waveland, Indiana to the late Hubert C. and Ferrell D. (Bilbo) Loudermill. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Rush Roy Taylor; son, Allen L. Taylor; and sisters, Agnes Dale and Margaret "Moggie" Dickerson.
She is survived by her children, William R. Taylor (Sally) and Mitsie Yeker; grandchildren, Ann Taylor Black (Brian), Katie Taylor Kruer (Jacob), Carri and Maggie Taylor; and great grandchild, Adelaide Black.
Her Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Saturday, April 14 with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care (305 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
