Doris Lee Head (Smith), 88, of Fisherville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
She was born on September 18, 1933 in Buechel, Kentucky to Walter and Geneva Coe Smith. Doris was a member of Pennsylvania Run Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Goins Head; son, Michael Parker Head; parents, Walter Lee Smith and Geneva Ann Smith; and her sister Jenny Leet.
Doris is survived by her son, Robert L. Head (Debra Kaye); daughters, Deborah A. Head (Rob) and Shannon M. Head-Cunningham (Chris); grandchildren, Tara R. Lloyd, Brittany E. Limbach, John P. Head, Lauren A. Eckrote, Hannah M. Reeves, Kristian B. Marshall, Noah H. Cunningham, Parker M. Reeves, Uriah G. Cunningham; and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens, East.
The family requests that contributions in Doris's memory be made to the National Audubon Society.
