Doris Jean (Hammers) Clanney, 63, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on November 24, 2013.
Doris was born on November 6, 1950 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, VFW Post #1832, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Neal Clanney; children, Vanessa Duncan and Marci Bounds (Chris); mother, Jean Aline (Holland) Roye; grandchildren, Rorie Mitchem, Mark Bennington, Lonni Richards, Kaylie Reed and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Springdale Cemetery in Madison.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kosairs Children's Hospital (231 East Chestnut, Louisville Kentucky 40202).
