Dorion Cordell Tisby

Dorion Cordell Tisby, 23, was born in Louisville, Kentucky October 29, 1999, and departed this life on January 1, 2023. He graduated from Ballard High School and was pursuing a career in the music industry.

Dorion was the breath of fresh air that commanded attention when he entered a room. He had a smooth demeanor with the way he spoke and carried himself. He was a person of few words but his words had an impact on you. He loved his appearance and loved to wear eye-catching clothing when there was a special occasion. He was a sports enthusiast, played football with Hikes Point Lobes, basketball at Crosby Middle and Ballard High School. He also played AAU basketball where he traveled throughout the United States. He loved hanging out with friends and would do anything in the world for them. He was Mr. Independent, always wanting to do things for himself and finding a way to make it happen.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Claude Tisby and great grandfather Frank Sherley Sr. Dorion was a loving son, caring brother, and a jewel of a grandson. He is survived by his loving parents Andre' Tisby and LaKetra Sherley Daniel (Lamar), sisters Sanaia Tisby and Alyssia Sneed and brother Jace Tisby, grandparents Betty Tisby, LaQuita Sherley, and Jeffery Stevenson and great grandparents Lottie Sherley, Dorothy and Kenneth Stevenson. He is also survived by aunt Lottia Ray (De'Antony) and uncles Cedric Tisby, JaCoby Sherley (Shanette), JaCory Sherley, his great aunts and uncles and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on January 9, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m at First Bapitst Church of Jeffersontown, 10600 Watterson Trail, Louisville, KY 40299. A funeral service for family and close friends will follow at 2:00 pm that day at the church.
