Doreen Bowen

Doreen Bowen, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022. Doreen enjoyed crafting, decorating, and making jewelry. She was simple women who loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. Doreen was known for her telephone conversations with her sisters. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on May 3, 1953 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to James and Cordelia Bowen. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Siblings, Barry Bowen, Anna Bowen, Hattie Bowen, and Jimmy Bowen.

Doreen is survived by her Daughter, Sheneice Small, Grandchildren, Diontrease Bowen, Deandre Bowen, Markesha Thompson, Deaudra Small, Devonte Small, Doneisha Small, Jose Barragan, and Juanito Barragan, Brothers, William Bowen, Michael Bowen, and Wayne Bowen, Sisters, Linda Bowen, Betty Bowen, Shirley Bowen, Sheila Bowen, Karen Bowen, and Ella Bowen. Doreen also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
