Dorce "Andy" Andrews

Dorce "Andy" G. Andrews, 86, of Goshen, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. Andy was a very caring and loving person who would help anyone in need. He served in the United States Army for 6 years. He had a laid back personality and enjoyed hunting & fishing. He was a fierce competitor who loved playing golf, horseshoes and board games with his family. Andy will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on February 19, 1938 in Morley, Tennessee to Clint and Lily (Vanover) Andrews. He is preceded in death by his Father, Clint Andrews, Mother, Lily Mae Andrews, Children, Robert Clint Andrews, Betty Jean Andrews, Jackielynn Andrews, Grandsons, Joshua Wahle, Michael Policastro, and Andrew Policastro.

Andy is survived by his loving family, Significant Other, Valarie Benzinger; Daughter, Rosemarie Andrews; Grandchildren, Maria (Mark Sweeney) Policastro, Joseph Policastro, Monica Andrews, Rick Mason, and Russell Back; Great-Grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Ethan, Bella, Evan, Christopher, and Luciano; Siblings, Claude Andrews, Gary Andrews, and Morleen Andrews; Brothers-In-Law, Wesley (Patty) Ray and Ernest Ray Sr.; Sister-In-Law, Margaret O'Daniel, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
