Donte Lamont Jones Sr., 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. He was born on August 24, 1973, in Champaign, Illinois to Terry Jones and Wanda Hollingsworth.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Donte is survived by his loving wife, Tawanda Thornton-Jones; children, Donte Jones Jr, Desheriay Thornton, Vachean Jones, Tejanee Jone; siblings, Maurice Brown (Vierita), Tara Dixon (William), Stephanie Obernier (Justin) and Carl Adkins, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
His Celebration of Life will be May 23, 2024, at Isionia Empire, 4944 Manslick Road, Louisville, KY 40216, from 3pm-7pm.
